Skorzeny (2nd edition)
" I am attracted by an extraordinary way of life, " wrote Viennese student Otto Skorzeny at a time when his face was adorned with the first scar from a cadet duel. His wish came true. An elite member of the SS, Hitler' s personal favorite and a specialist in top-secret operations (just to name a few: (e. g. the liberation of Mussolini, the kidnapping of Horthy' s son, attempts to assassinate Josip Broz-Tito or the deployment of German troops in American uniforms during the Ardennes Offensive) was called by the commander of the Allied armies, General Dwight D. Eisenhower " the most dangerous man in Europe". The author of his previous book I, Otto Skorzeny…! enriched with a dramatic treatment of the post-war period, when Otto Skorzeny wove a dark web of neo-Nazi and anti-democratic intrigues in various corners of the world. Skorzeny became a legend shrouded in mystery many times during his life. A look beneath its surface is a gripping story of a man who, under all circumstances, during and after the war, offered his unquestionable courage and intelligence to the service of evil.
