The TRUAUDIO Subwoofer can enhance your audio with powerful bass you will absolutely love when listening to music or watching a movie. Its active amp with a total power of 150 W can easily play all the sounds ranging from from 40 Hz to 200 Hz, so you will not only hear, but also feel the bass. The TRUAUDIO CSUB-8 can be hooked up to your audio system using cinch connectors. You will also appreciate excellent build quality and a timeless design that will become the crown jewel of any modern interior. The TRUAUDIO CSUB-8 Subwoofer is active, which means it can handle playback without an extra amp — the only thing you have to do is to connect it to the music source.
The number of channels refers to the number of independent audio signals that can be reproduced simultaneously. An example might be 2-channel stereo sound, where each channel represents one ear (left and right), or 5.1 channel surround sound, which has five full channels (front left, center, front right, rear left, rear right) and one channel for the subwoofer.
Subwoofers are speakers designed to reproduce low frequencies, usually referred to as bass. There are two basic types of subwoofers: active and passive. Active subwoofers have their own amplifier integrated directly into the unit, while passive subwoofers require an external amplifier for power. Active subwoofers are often considered more user-friendly because they do not require additional equipment to function, while passive subwoofers can provide a higher level of control over the sound.
