Unitree Go2 EDU PLUS is a lightweight yet extremely capable quadruped robot for teaching, labs and research. The integrated 4D LiDAR with ultra-wide 360° × 90° coverage perceives the environment with virtually no "blind spots" and thanks to a minimum detection distance of 0.05 m, the robot safely maneuvers even in tight spaces. A boosted compute module with NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX will deliver power for SLAM, AI and custom real-time algorithms. It weighs about 15 kg, can handle speeds of up to 3.7 m/s, lasts up to 4 hours on a single charge and can carry 8 kg of payload.

To use the product's smart features, you need to add the device to the manufacturer's app. For more information about the application (name, supported OS, supported languages) and how to add a device to the application, please refer to the product manual.

The integrated 4D LiDAR senses the area around it (360°) and in a large vertical range (90°), so the robot reliably detects obstacles both close up and at a distance. Detection from 0.05 m helps to accurately navigate walls, shelves or benches - ideal for classrooms, laboratories and narrow aisles. In practice, this means more confident driving, cleaner maps and fewer navigation errors.

The EDU PLUS configuration adds Jetson Orin NX to handle advanced SLAM, image detection and segmentation, multi-sensor fusion and real-time path planning. The open SDK (C++/Python) and ROS/ROS2 support facilitate integration of custom modules and rapid prototyping.

The Unitree Go2 EDU plus robotic dog is agile and agile, with a top speed of 3.7 m/s. Energy-saving kinematics and smart power management extend operation; in practice, it gets up to 4 hours on a single charge (depending on battery capacity, walking pace and load). Holds stability well even during rapid changes of direction.

Unitree Go2 EDU plus is designed for common indoor and outdoor surfaces. It handles inclines of up to 40°, steps precisely over thresholds and low stairs and avoids traps such as cables, stands or backpacks on the ground thanks to its sensitive perception. The 8 kg payload can accommodate cameras, additional LiDAR, RTK, computing modules or light handling elements.

In addition to the mobile app, a remote control and PC tools are also available; the control range is up to 30 m (depending on the environment). On the robot body you will find power outputs for peripherals, USB-A/USB-C, 2× RJ45 (1 GbE) and other data connectors - so you can connect sensor assemblies without improvisation.

The platform is ready for teaching algorithms, robotics courses and applied research. Examples, documentation and the ability to quickly link to existing stacks (ROS/ROS2) are available. With clearly defined interfaces, expansion with additional sensors and accessories is a matter of hours, not weeks.
