Smarter Than Your Ordinary Drives
For Gamers...
Powerful computers and workstations equipped with top-of-the-line components are often sources of vibration and sound waves that can reduce the accuracy, and hence the performance of the hard drive. Even the best computer towers on the market are not able to completely eliminate this problem. The new generation of WD Black hard drives uses VCT vibration control technology, allowing the drive's platters to adapt to any grip and vibration within the computer tower chassis.
For Enthusiasts...
In addition to VCT Vibration Control Technology, WD Black drives are also equipped with StableTrac technology to secure the drive shaft at both ends, further curtailing vibration that is transmitted from the outside. The reliable StableTrac technology stabilises the platters inside the drive, resulting in more accurate tracking of the specific sector when reading and writing, thus offering higher performance (models with 2TB or higher).
