Zalman P50 DS Black
The Zalman P50 DS computer case in black is the foundation for gaming setups with an emphasis on the visual presentation of components. Its panoramic view combines the front and side panels of tempered glass into a single unit. The design provides an uninterrupted view of the installed hardware inside the chassis. The case supports modern standards, including motherboards with hidden connectors, and offers cooling options to maintain optimal temperatures even under heavy loads.
Key features of the Zalman P50 DS computer case
- Panoramic design connects tempered glass panels
- Integrated display shows CPU and GPU temperatures in real time
- Internal space accommodates a large number of system fans
- The system supports motherboards with connectors on the back
- Four pre-installed ARGB fans ensure airflow
- I/O panel includes a modern USB-C port for fast data transfers
- Rotating PCI slot allows for vertical graphics card installation
- Dust filters on the top and bottom protect components
Design of the Zalman P50 DS case
The steel construction uses a frameless connection for the glass panels, which eliminates visual barriers in the corner of the case. Both the side and front panels of tempered glass are held in place by a tool-free mechanism with ball studs, which makes accessing hardware during assembly or maintenance much easier. A bottom groove fixes the glass securely in place and prevents it from accidentally falling out after releasing the top clips.
Integrated information display
At the bottom of the side panel is a built-in screen that extends the case's functionality with system monitoring. The display clearly shows the processor and graphics card temperature along with the current time, directly in the user's field of view. This eliminates the need for software overlays on the monitor during gaming and gives immediate feedback on the computer's status.
Motherboard support
The internal layout allows for the installation of ATX, mATX, and Mini-ITX motherboards and fully supports modern designs with rear-mounted connectors. The cutouts in the motherboard tray precisely match this standard. This means users can route all cabling discreetly at the back. The result is a clean interior with hidden cabling that does not obstruct airflow to important components.
Zalman P50 DS cooling options
The airflow system uses a vertical chimney effect and side intake to achieve cooling efficiency. The chassis offers a total of ten fan positions. The internal space can accommodate up to three 120mm fans in the side, top, and bottom positions simultaneously. The steel side panel on the right has two separate ventilation grilles that ensure a fresh air supply to the power source and side fans.
Fitted fans
The manufacturer supplies the case with four pre-installed fans that provide basic airflow right out of the box. Three 120mm fans with reverse blades on the side draw air in. The rear 120mm fan exhausts heated air out of the case. All fitted units feature ARGB backlighting with an infinity mirror effect and hydraulic bearings for quiet operation.
Water cooling in the Zalman P50 DS
Fans of liquid cooling will appreciate the extensive compatibility with radiators of various sizes. Both the top and side support the installation of heat exchangers up to 360mm long, which is enough even for the most powerful processors on the market. The rear position allows for the mounting of a smaller 120mm or 140mm radiator for additional cooling.
Space for components
The case interior provides plenty of space for installing massive graphics cards and tall processor coolers. Users can fit a graphics card up to 435mm long into the build. The chassis allows for the use of an air processor cooler with a height of up to 178mm. Additionally, the rotating PCI slot gives you the choice between a standard horizontal installation of the graphics card or a vertical orientation.
Maintenance and cleanliness
Protection against dust is provided by fine filters placed at strategic air intake and exhaust points. Magnetic filters on the top and bottom of the case prevent dirt from entering the power supply and the main computer space. Thanks to their easy, tool-free removal, regular cleaning of the filters takes minimal time and extends the lifespan of the installed components.
Panel connectivity
The control panel, located on the bottom of the side panel, puts all the necessary ports within easy reach. Here you will find a high-speed USB-C port, two USB 3.0 connectors, and a combined audio jack for headphones and a microphone. The panel also includes power, reset, and LED lighting control buttons, which can be synchronised with the motherboard.
