The Philips 27M2C5501 is a curved 27" gaming monitor that combines speed with an immersive picture. It uses a VA panel with a detailed Quad HD resolution of 2560×1440 pixels. A high refresh rate of 180Hz and an extremely low response time of 0.5ms (MBR) deliver smooth visuals in fast-paced gaming scenes. The 1500R curvature surrounds the user's field of view, pulling them right into the action. This 180Hz monitor also supports AMD FreeSync technology, which eliminates screen tearing, and the HDR 10 standard for displaying an extended dynamic range.

Image Quality and Immersion
At the core of this curved Quad HD monitor is a VA panel with a high native contrast ratio of 5,000:1. This results in deep black tones and clearly defined bright scenes. The 1500R curvature complements the 2560×1440 pixel resolution, and together they create an immersive panoramic feel that fills your peripheral vision. HDR 10 support further extends the contrast spectrum. In addition, the monitor covers 124% of the sRGB and 93% of the DCI-P3 colour spaces, which is reflected in faithful and rich colour reproduction.
Speed and Smoothness
The monitor is designed for competitive gaming, where every millisecond counts. The 180Hz refresh rate redraws the image up to 180× per second, resulting in exceptionally smooth motion. The monitor has a 1ms (GtG) response time, with Smart MBR technology reducing the response time to as low as 0.5ms to minimise motion blur. Smooth visuals without artefacts and tearing are supported by AMD FreeSync technology, which synchronises the graphics card's frame rate with the monitor's refresh rate.
Gaming Features
To customise your gaming style, the monitor includes SmartImage game mode. This offers preset profiles for various genres such as FPS, RTS or Racing, which adjust the image properties. To gain a tactical advantage, the ShadowBoost feature brightens dark scenes, revealing hidden enemies without overexposing the bright parts of the image. A software crosshair supports precise aiming.
Connectivity and Ergonomics
The monitor stand offers flexible adjustment options for proper seating. The user can adjust the height of the screen within a range of 130mm and also tilt it. It is also possible to swivel the stand to the sides for a quick adjustment of the viewing angle. For alternative placement on a wall or other arm, a VESA 100×100mm mount is provided. The Philips 27M2C5501 monitor offers a wide range of connectivity options. Various ports for video signal and audio output are available to ensure compatibility with many devices.

Colour Gamut
Determines how accurately a monitor can display colours. sRGB is ideal for web, movies or games. DCI-P3/Adobe RGB is appreciated by graphic designers or professionals. The higher the value, the better the monitor displays colours.
Maximum Brightness
The value, given in nits or cd/m², determines the brightness of the monitor. A brightness of over 400 nits is key for HDR content and readability in sunlight, while standard office monitors are fine with values over 250.
Refresh Rate and Response Time
Refresh rate (Hz) determines the number of frames displayed per second, so the higher the value, the smoother the picture and the less eye strain. A lower response time (ms) eliminates motion blur. 144Hz+ is ideal for gaming, while values around 75Hz are suitable for office monitors.

The monitor connection type refers to the interface that is used to transmit the video signal from the source (e.g. computer) to the monitor. Different connection types support different resolutions and refresh rates and can affect the quality and performance of the display on the monitor.
The sRGB colour coverage of a monitor is a measure of how much of the range of colours defined in the sRGB (Standard Red Green Blue) standard the monitor is able to display. A higher percentage of sRGB coverage means that the monitor can display a wider and richer range of colors.

Kúpil som tento monitor a nefungujú mi reproduktory.
Preveril som oba HDMI vstupy, skontroloval som hlasitosť, že nie je mutnutý, HDMI kábel som pripojil k starému monitoru, kde reproduktory monitora fungovali
Treba ešte niečo nastaviť alebo mám smolu s reproduktormi monitora?
