High dynamic range (HDR) TVs are a real game changer. HDR introduces a new generation of imaging technology. Coupled with 4K Ultra HD resolution, they uncover the level of detail, colour, and contrast that previously seemed impossible. This creates the most accurate picture rendering you have ever seen on a TV. The icing on the cake is the amazing level of detail in bright areas that usually remain bland and featureless. Now you will not miss a single detail.
Key features
- HDR brightness and high dynamic colour range
- Excellent clarity and detail in 4K
- Natural colours in expanded colour palette (TRILUMINOS)
- Endless fun with Google Play portal
- Easy YouTube playback (Google Cast)
- Voice Search using included controller
- Quality audio (ClearPhase balance adjustment)
Unique colour rendering
Behold the most extensive and accurate colour gamut ever. BRAVIA with TRILUMINOS picture technology ensures the optimal colour density for each tone. TRILUMINOS selectively maps colours across the wide gamut available to the screen, rather than simply expanding the colour range, so subtle colours do not become oversaturated and unnatural. Even the subtlest colour tones are rendered with breath-taking accuracy?.
Making smart TVs even smarter
Do you have favourite apps and games on your smartphone or tablet? Imagine seeing them on the big BRAVIA screen. Android TV lets you connect and enjoy content on different devices running Android much easier than ever before. With Google Play, you can enjoy an ever growing range of apps, games, and even the latest movies, so you don’t have to go to the cinema. Your TV can give you all the content you want.

Sony Corporation is a Japanese company founded in 1946. Its headquarters is located in Tokyo. Its beginnings were humble. The first product sold under the Sony brand was a transistor radio. It was those radios that played a pivotal role in the company's expansion in the 1960s and the world quickly began to associate Sony products with a reliably stellar price-performance ratio.
In the 1970s, Sony was severely affected by the global economic crisis. Many analysts considered the company effectively defunct and could see no future for it. However, they underestimated the famous Japanese perseverance and courage. The crisis was not a disaster for Sony; on the contrary, it served as a launching pad to even greater heights. The company recovered and soon changed the media landscape with the development of the CD and later the DVD. In the early 1990s, Sony achieved another major success with the introduction of the PlayStation gaming console. It is the gaming consoles that best represent the intersection of the three key areas in which the company operates today – electronics, video games, and the entertainment industry.
