Thanks to the USB-C port, you can use the monitor to power laptops with a power consumption of up to 70W. The monitor has a 24" screen area and offers Full HD resolution. The pixel density of the LCD monitor is 94 PPI, so the EIZO colourEdge EV2495-BK offers a sufficiently sharp image. Thanks to the RJ-45 connector, you can connect a cable to a fixed LAN network directly to the monitor, so a computer or laptop connected via a USB-C cable gets network access. The EIZO colourEdge EV2495-BK's connectivity features can fully replace a docking station. In addition to the USB-C video input, the EIZO colourEdge EV2495-BK monitor is also equipped with another USB-C output connector, which can be connected to the input of another monitor to easily create multi-screen solutions using only a single video output from the source computer's graphics card.

The EIZO colourEdge EV2495-BK uses a high-quality IPS panel with low heat emission
The monitor has three key parameters at a great value: a resolution of 1920 × 1200, a contrast ratio of 1000:1 and a stable brightness of up to 350cd/m². In practice, this will ensure that all content on the monitor is displayed in detail and sharply. An IPS panel with LED backlighting allows you to view the display surface with unchanged contrast and colours even from wide viewing angles. The semi-matte finish of the EIZO colourEdge EV2495-BK monitor boasts virtually zero glare. The backlighting system with white LED elements has high efficiency and therefore low heat emission, which results in a longer monitor life and less eye fatigue.
Completely precise colour control
The EIZO colourEdge EV2495-BK office monitor is equipped with at least a ten-bit LUT (Look-Up-Table), which converts colour information much more accurately than conventional eight-bit LUTs. This allows the monitor to perfectly grade colours and brilliantly render transitions. The EIZO colourEdge EV2495-BK monitor can also be individually adjusted, with the white point level being losslessly selectable from 4000K to 10000K in 500K increments. The Overdrive function shortens the response time in such a way that the grey-to-grey transition time is only 5ms on average. This means that on the EIZO colourEdge EV2495-BK monitor, you'll see fast-changing images without the distracting inertia of the light source.
FlickerFree technology and up to 80% Blue-reduction
The EIZO colourEdge EV2495-BK office monitor uses HiPWM technology to adjust the brightness, which controls the light flux of the LED elements of the backlighting system by pulse-width modulation, which operates at a high frequency in the order of tens of kHz, so that there can be no flickering of the image even in cases where the screen brightness is reduced by the user to a minimum of 1cd/m² (working in low night light). The image of the EIZO EV2495-BK monitor will continue to appear perfectly calm and clean. The user can also select the “PAPER” mode in the evening to significantly reduce (up to 80%) the blue spectrum emitted by the EIZO's backlighting system by adjusting the monitor's white point below 5000K. At the same time, the monitor's contrast is automatically adjusted to better match the contrast ratios of light reflected from paper, which is very pleasant for the eyes.
The monitor automatically adjusts the brightness value
The EIZO colourEdge EV2495-BK uses an automatic LED backlight control system, which saves electricity. Another benefit of this control is a stable and flicker-free image. The brightness value of the EIZO colourEdge EV2495-BK can be regulated from 1cd/m² up to a maximum of 350cd/m². The monitor can therefore also be used in operations with limited daylight and for night-time operation. A unique optimised control with a non-linear characteristic is used for the mentioned automatic brightness adjustment of the monitor, thanks to which the EIZO colourEdge EV2495-BK monitor is able to better react to changes in the light around the monitor.
The EIZO colourEdge EV2495-BK has zero consumption
To ensure the monitor does not draw any electricity, you can switch it off mechanically thanks to the built-in mains switch. Its consumption will then be zero. If you leave the EIZO colourEdge EV2495-BK monitor in Stand-by mode, its consumption is around 0.5W. Since the EIZO colourEdge EV2495-BK uses the latest technology, it can save up to 30% of energy in normal operation.

The monitor's colour gamut is close to the sRGB IEC61966-2.1 standard, so the EIZO colourEdge EV2495-BK can handle displaying colour photos with a colour gamut according to the sRGB standard right out of the box without any problems, without the need to calibrate the monitor in any way and create its precise colour profile. The display of images with sRGB gamut is correct even in browsers without Colour Management support (without CMS), i.e. also in internet browsers or other applications that were not originally primarily intended for the reproduction of colour photographs.

The EIZO colourEdge EV2495-BK monitor has a flexible stand, which makes handling the 24" panel extremely easy and comfortable. The stand allows for height adjustment up to 182.2mm, so you can easily adjust it to the optimal position. The EIZO EV2495-BK monitor can also be swivelled by 344° and tilted up to +35° or -5°.
Screen InStyle software makes work easier
Thanks to this clever software, you can assign a preset video mode to any application you use. So when you open the selected application, the EIZO colourEdge EV2495-BK monitor adapts to your settings, ensuring you maximum comfort and ease of use. Screen InStyle software allows you to define “hot keys” to switch input video signals directly from the keyboard, define a white point for “Paper” mode or synchronise the brightness change on multiple monitors simultaneously using a single control.
Zero tolerance for dead pixels
EIZO guarantees zero tolerance for defective pixels or sub-pixels. If defective pixels/sub-pixels are found within six months of the date of sale, the user is entitled to demand a replacement or a significant discount on the purchased monitor.
