Thanks to the RJ-45 connector, you can connect a cable for a wired LAN directly to the monitor, so a computer or laptop connected via a USB-C cable can access the network. In addition to the USB-C video input, the EIZO colourEdge EV2495-WT monitor is also equipped with another USB-C output connector, which can be connected to the input of another monitor to easily create multi-screen solutions using only a single video output from the source computer's graphics card.

The monitor has three key parameters at an excellent level: a resolution of 1920 × 1200, a contrast ratio of 1000:1, and a stable brightness of up to 350cd/m². The IPS panel with LED backlighting allows you to view the display surface with unchanged contrast and colours even from wide viewing angles. The semi-matte surface of the EIZO colourEdge EV2495-WT monitor boasts virtually zero glare. The backlighting system with white LED elements is highly efficient and therefore has low heat emission, which contributes to a longer monitor life and less eye strain.
Perfectly precise colour control
The EIZO colourEdge EV2495-WT office monitor is equipped with at least a ten-bit Look-Up-Table (LUT) that converts colour information significantly more accurately than conventional eight-bit LUTs. This allows the monitor to achieve excellent colour gradations and render transitions brilliantly. The EIZO colourEdge EV2495-WT monitor can also be individually adjusted, allowing the white point level to be selected losslessly from 4000K to 10000K in 500K increments. The Overdrive function shortens the response time in such a way that the grey-to-grey transition time is only 5ms on average. As a result, you will see fast-moving images on the EIZO colourEdge EV2495-WT monitor without any distracting persistence from the light source.
Flicker-Free technology and up to 80% Blue-light reduction
The EIZO colourEdge EV2495-WT office monitor uses HiPWM technology to adjust the brightness, which controls the light flux of the LED elements of the backlighting system using pulse width modulation, which operates at a high frequency in the order of tens of kHz, so that there is no image flicker even when the user reduces the screen luminance to a minimum of 1cd/m² (working in low night-time lighting). The EIZO EV2495-WT monitor image will continue to appear perfectly calm and clear. The user can also select “PAPER” mode in the evening to significantly reduce (by up to 80%) the blue spectrum emitted by the EIZO monitor's backlighting system by adjusting the monitor's white point below 5000K. At the same time, the monitor's contrast is automatically adjusted to better match the contrast ratio of light reflected from paper, which is very pleasant for the eyes.
The monitor automatically adjusts the brightness value
The EIZO colourEdge EV2495-WT uses an automatic LED backlight control system, which saves electricity. Another benefit of this control is a stable and flicker-free image. The brightness of the EIZO colourEdge EV2495-WT can be adjusted from 1cd/m² up to a maximum of 350cd/m². The monitor can therefore be used in environments with limited daylight and for night-time operation. A unique optimised control with a non-linear characteristic is used to change the automatic brightness adjustment of the monitor, allowing the EIZO colourEdge EV2495-WT monitor to better respond to changes in the light around the monitor.
The EIZO colourEdge EV2495-WT has zero power consumption
To ensure the monitor does not draw any electricity, you can switch it off mechanically thanks to the built-in mains switch. Its consumption will then be zero. If you leave the EIZO colourEdge EV2495-WT monitor in Stand-by mode, its power consumption is around 0.5W. Screen InStyle software makes your work easier
Thanks to this clever software, you can assign a preset video mode to any application you use. Screen InStyle software allows you to define hot keys for switching video input signals directly from the keyboard, defining the white point for “Paper” mode, or synchronising the brightness change on multiple monitors simultaneously with a single control.
