27" ASUS ROG Strix XG27WCS
The ASUS ROG Strix XG27WCS is a 27" curved gaming monitor that delivers a combination of speed and visual precision for competitive gaming. The display is built on Fast VA technology, which combines high contrast with a 1ms (GtG) response time. Together with a 180Hz refresh rate and Quad HD resolution (2560×1440), it displays sharp, smooth scenes. The ASUS ROG monitor integrates advanced gaming features with artificial intelligence support that actively helps you while you play. This modern USB-C monitor simplifies connecting peripherals and laptops by transmitting both image and power through a single cable. It utilises ROG Gaming A.I. technology. The Dynamic Shadow Boost function brightens dark areas of a scene without overexposing the lighter parts, and Dynamic Crosshair dynamically adjusts the crosshair for better accuracy. These features improve your gaming experience and precision.

Visual Experience
The curved 27" VA panel of the ASUS ROG Strix XG27WCS monitor displays content at a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels with a 16:9 aspect ratio. A contrast ratio of 3,000:1 and a brightness of up to 400cd/m² ensure that details are rendered perfectly. The panel reproduces vivid colours thanks to its 125% sRGB and 95% DCI-P3 coverage. Support for the VESA CERTIFIED DisplayHDR 400 standard improves the display in both bright and dark scenes, while the anti-glare surface reduces unwanted reflections and diffuses ambient light.
Smoothness in Fast-Paced Games
A 180Hz refresh rate combined with a 1ms (GtG) response time reduces motion blur, which is crucial in dynamic titles. FreeSync technology synchronises the frame rate with your graphics card, while ELMB SYNC (Extreme Low Motion Blur Sync) further suppresses ghosting. Together, these features eliminate screen tearing and ghosting while maintaining high sharpness. The monitor uses Variable OD 2.0 technology, which dynamically adjusts the panel's overdrive according to the current frame rate.
Ergonomics and Design
The stand of the 27" ASUS ROG Strix XG27WCS monitor has a compact base to save desk space and offers full ergonomic customisation. You can adjust the screen's height, tilt and swivel to find the optimal viewing position. The stand includes a practical mobile phone holder that keeps your device in sight and within reach. For alternative mounting, such as on a wall or an adjustable arm, the monitor is ready for a VESA mount with a 100×100mm spacing.
Connectivity Options
For connecting to a computer or gaming console, the ASUS ROG Strix XG27WCS monitor offers HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.4 ports. These are complemented by a universal USB-C port with Power Delivery, which transmits the video signal (DP Alt Mode) while simultaneously powering a connected laptop. The monitor thus provides a wide range of connectivity options.

Colour Gamut
This determines how accurately the monitor can display colours. sRGB is ideal for the web, films or games. DCI-P3/Adobe RGB will be appreciated by graphic designers or professionals at work. The higher the value, the better the monitor displays colours. Maximum Brightness
Given in nits or cd/m², this value determines the monitor's brightness level. Brightness above 400 nits is key for HDR content and readability in sunlight, while standard office monitors are fine with values above 250. Refresh Rate and Response Time
Refresh rate (Hz) determines the number of frames displayed per second, so the higher the value, the smoother the image and the less eye strain. A lower response time (ms) eliminates motion blur. 144Hz+ is ideal for gaming, while values around 75Hz are suitable for office monitors.Specifications
