Say goodbye to docking stations thanks to USB-TypeC

10-bit USB-C, DP (DisplayPort) and HDMI inputs are used for seamless connection of modern computers to the EIZO colour Edge EV2795-WT monitor, which are also able to process not only encoded RGB but also YCbCr data up to a resolution of 2560 × 1440. The EIZO colour Edge EV2795-WT monitor also allows the connection of two external peripherals via the fast USB 3.1 interface, which is also designed to be used for charging smartphones or tablets with a current load of up to 3A. The USB-B and USB-C Up-Stream ports have an integrated KVM function for sharing one keyboard and mouse between two connected computers. Cleverly hidden controls

All controls and built-in speakers are directed towards the user. The monitor has three key parameters at an excellent level: a resolution of 2560 × 1440, a contrast ratio of 1000:1 and a stable brightness of up to 350cd/m². The IPS panel with LED backlighting allows you to view the display surface with unchanged contrast and colours even from wide viewing angles. The backlighting system with white LED elements is highly efficient and therefore has low heat emission, which contributes to a longer monitor life and less eye strain.

Completely precise colour control

The EIZO colour Edge EV2795-WT office monitor is equipped with at least a ten-bit LUT (Look-Up-Table), which converts colour information much more accurately than conventional eight-bit LUTs. This allows the monitor to achieve excellent colour gradations and brilliant transitions. The EIZO colour Edge EV2795-WT monitor can also be individually adjusted, allowing the white point level to be selected without loss in the range of 4000K to 10000K in 500K increments. The Overdrive function shortens the response time in such a way that the grey-to-grey change time is only 5ms on average. This allows you to see fast-moving images on the EIZO colour Edge EV2795-WT monitor without the distracting persistence of the light source.

FlickerFree technology and blue light reduction by up to 80%

The EIZO colour Edge EV2795-WT office monitor uses HiPWM technology to adjust brightness, which controls the light flux of the LED elements of the backlighting system by pulse-width modulation, which works with a high frequency in the order of tens of kHz, so that there can be no image flicker even when the screen brightness is reduced by the user to a minimum of 1cd/m² (working in low night light). The image on the EIZO EV2795-WT monitor will continue to appear completely calm and clean. The user can also select the “PAPER” mode in the evening to significantly reduce (by up to 80%) the blue spectrum emitted by the EIZO monitor's backlighting system by adjusting the monitor's white point below 5000K. At the same time, the monitor's contrast is automatically adjusted to better match the contrast ratios of light reflected from paper, which is very pleasant for the eyes.

The monitor automatically adjusts the brightness value

The EIZO colour Edge EV2795-WT uses an automatic LED backlight control system, which saves electricity. Another benefit of this regulation is a stable and flicker-free image. The brightness of the EIZO colour Edge EV2795-WT monitor can be regulated from 1cd/m² up to a maximum of 350cd/m². The monitor can thus be used in operations with limited daylight and for night operation. To change the automatic brightness adjustment of the monitor, a unique optimised control with a non-linear characteristic is used, thanks to which the EIZO colour Edge EV2495-WT monitor can better react to changes in light in the vicinity of the monitor. As the EIZO colour Edge EV2795-WT monitor uses the most modern technology, it can save up to 30% of energy in normal operation. To prevent the monitor from drawing any electricity, you can switch it off mechanically thanks to the built-in mains switch. Its consumption will then be zero. If you leave the EIZO colour Edge EV2795-WT monitor in Stand-by mode, its consumption is around 0.5W.

Photo Viewing

The colour gamut of the monitor is close to the sRGB IEC61966-2.1 standard, so the EIZO colour Edge EV2795-WT monitor can correctly display colour photos with a colour gamut according to the sRGB standard immediately after unpacking, without the need to calibrate the monitor in any way and create its exact colour profile. The display of images with sRGB gamut is correct even in browsers without colour management support (without CMS), i.e. also in web browsers or other applications that were not originally intended for colour photo reproduction. The EIZO colour Edge EV2795-WT monitor has a flexible stand, which makes handling the 27" panel as easy and comfortable as possible. The stand allows for height adjustment up to 176.6mm, so you can easily adjust it to the optimal position. The EIZO EV2795-WT monitor can also be swivelled by 344° and tilted up to +35° or -5°.

Screen InStyle software makes work easier

Thanks to this clever software, you can assign a preset video mode to any application you use. So when you open the selected application, the EIZO colour Edge EV2795-WT monitor adapts to your settings, ensuring maximum comfort and ease of use. The Screen InStyle software allows you to define “hot keys” for switching input video signals directly from the keyboard, defining the white point for “Paper” mode or synchronising the brightness change on multiple monitors simultaneously using a single control. EIZO guarantees zero tolerance for defective pixels or sub-pixels. If defective pixels/sub-pixels are found within six months of the date of sale, the user has the right to demand a replacement or a significant discount on the purchased monitor. Due to the high quality of all components used in the manufacture of the monitor, this model is provided with a 5-year warranty from the manufacturer (including a warranty on the LCD panel and its backlighting system).
