This 32" Samsung LCD monitor allows you to work in Quad HD (2560 × 1440) resolution. Its IPS panel has excellent colour reproduction, lower contrast, and the image quality remains the same even when you change your viewing angle. With an IPS panel, there is also a minimal risk of burn-in, so it will serve you for a long time. It displays data with a 10-bit colour depth. Thanks to HDR, more details, greater image depth and higher contrast are rendered, corresponding to what the human eye sees. The matte surface of the display minimises light reflections in the room and helps block light from the window. Thanks to the standard 16:9 aspect ratio, you can, for example, open a text assignment next to a graphics editor and work with them effectively. A maximum brightness of 350 cd/m² is a good choice for working out of direct sunlight and is also suitable for rooms that are not too brightly lit. It can be mounted on a wall or stand using a 100×100 VESA mount. This makes it easy to set up multiple monitors in your workspace.
The 32" IPS PC monitor has a flat design, which makes it easy to use several monitors at the same time. It has a filter that produces less blue light and a Flicker-free function that reduces the frequency of monitor flicker. This can help reduce eye fatigue and improve sleep quality. Thanks to automatic brightness control, the display responds to changes in ambient light and adjusts the screen brightness so that it doesn't shine too brightly at night and is sufficiently legible during the day. The PiP (Picture in Picture) function displays a small window with a second image or video on the main display. This makes it easy to switch between the main image and the smaller embedded window, so you don't have to interrupt your main activity on the screen. It allows you to work on two different tasks simultaneously without needing a second monitor. With the Picture-by-Picture (PbP) function, you can work with different applications or compare data on two separate screens. You can adjust the monitor to your desired height so that its top side corresponds to eye level, thus promoting correct posture, which relieves the cervical spine and helps prevent scoliosis. The Pivot function allows the monitor to be rotated by 90°, which is appreciated by traders, programmers for a better view of the command line, or data analysts working with a spreadsheet editor.
You can connect the monitor to your computer or laptop using HDMI and DisplayPort. If your computer doesn't have a suitable connector, you can expand connectivity by purchasing a compatible port replicator. You can also use a port replicator when connecting two monitors. A Kensington Lock, which uses a lockable steel cable, provides physical protection against theft. In addition to the monitor itself, you will also find an HDMI and USB-A cable in the package.
The Samsung monitor has a native contrast of 1000:1. The native contrast ratio determines the difference between the lightest and darkest points that the monitor can display. If a monitor's contrast ratio is 3000:1, it means that the brightest point (white) is 3000× brighter than the darkest point (black). The sRGB colour gamut indicates what percentage of colours from this colour space the monitor can display. sRGB is advantageous because it is a common colour space found on most monitors. The sRGB colour gamut of this monitor is 99%. While it doesn't cover the entire natural colour spectrum, this may not be important for work unrelated to graphics.
