The Sharp 70GL4260E television displays content in 4K Ultra HD resolution on its 70" screen. This LED TV uses the Google TV operating system, which brings together content from various apps and offers personalised recommendations. You can control it using the remote or the built-in Google Assistant voice assistant to search for films, series, or information. The integrated Chromecast function streams content from mobile phones and tablets directly to the screen.

The 178cm (70") LED panel with a resolution of 3,840 × 2,160 uses an image processor to precisely upscale content to 4K. Support for HDR10, HLG and Dolby Vision standards, thanks to dynamic metadata, ensures deep blacks, striking brightness, and a wide colour spectrum exactly as the creators intended. The smoothness of fast-paced scenes, typical of sports broadcasts, is ensured by Active Motion 1000 technology. The system analyses the signal and inserts calculated intermediate frames, effectively reducing motion blur and keeping the image sharp even in dynamic shots.

The sound system with Dolby Atmos technology creates a three-dimensional soundscape, adding a height dimension to standard surround sound. The listener perceives effects like a helicopter flyover or footsteps with high precision and a feeling that the sound is also coming from above. The eARC interface on one of the HDMI ports ensures high bandwidth for transmitting uncompressed audio. This allows you to connect the TV to a compatible soundbar with a single cable while preserving the full quality of the Dolby Atmos format.

Google TV consolidates content from platforms like Netflix, Disney+, and Prime Video onto a single screen and offers personalised recommendations. Through the Google Play store, you get access to thousands of apps, including local services (Skylink, Telly, SledovaniTV), while regular updates keep the system secure and up to date. Using the remote control with a microphone, you can use Google Assistant to search for shows by voice and control your smart home. The built-in Chromecast then allows you to wirelessly stream videos or mirror the screen from Android and iOS phones and laptops directly to the screen.

When a gaming console is connected, the gaming mode is automatically activated, which reduces input lag. Lower latency ensures more precise responses and better synchronisation of the image with the controller, which is key for a smooth experience in action titles. The TV has four HDMI 2.1 ports, which are ideal for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. Thanks to the ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode) function, the gaming mode starts automatically. All four connectors support the full specification, so you don't need to select a specific port when connecting a console.

In addition to four HDMI ports, the TV has two USB connectors for media playback or connecting a keyboard. Stable 4K streaming is ensured by a wired LAN input, while integrated Wi-Fi and Bluetooth allow for the wireless connection of headphones, soundbars, or controllers, reducing cable clutter. A set of DVB-T2/S2/C tuners with H.265/HEVC codec support guarantees reception of terrestrial, satellite, and cable broadcasts. There is also a CI+ slot for decoding cards, a digital optical output, and a headphone jack. Furthermore, the Skylink Fast Scan function automatically tunes and sorts satellite programmes.

The TV's construction uses thin bezels around the screen. This element directs the viewer's attention primarily to the image being watched. Thanks to its minimalist appearance, the television is suitable for installation in modernly furnished spaces, both on a TV stand and when mounted on the wall. The dimensions of the body without the stand are 1,556 × 906 × 82mm. For wall mounting, the television has holes for a VESA standard mount with a spacing of 400 × 300mm. Two feet are used for placing it on furniture. Their spacing of 1,356mm determines the required width of the TV stand.

In standard dynamic range (SDR) mode, the television falls into energy class F with a consumption of 112kWh per 1,000 hours of operation. When watching content in HDR, the consumption increases to 176kWh per 1,000 hours, placing it in class G. The actual consumption depends on the brightness setting, volume level, and how the TV is used. The stated data corresponds to the measurement methodology of the European Union.
