The Sharp 75JP7265E television is built on a 75" Mini LED display panel with a Quantum Dot (QLED) layer. It delivers a native 4K Ultra HD resolution and uses the Google TV operating system to manage content and apps. This unifies shows and films from various streaming services into a single interface and offers voice control via Google Assistant. The audio accompaniment is provided by a Harman/Kardon speaker system with support for the Dolby Atmos surround sound format, contributing to a cinematic experience.
The 191cm (75") display panel operates at 4K Ultra HD resolution (3840 × 2160) and combines two key technologies. The Mini LED backlight uses hundreds of small diodes grouped into independently controlled dimming zones (Precise Local Dimming), delivering high dynamic contrast, deep blacks, and intense brightness. The Quantum Dot (QLED) layer expands the colour gamut for vivid and realistic colours. The television supports high dynamic range formats Dolby Vision, HDR10, and HLG. Furthermore, Dolby Vision works with dynamic metadata for each frame individually, optimising the picture in both dark and bright scenes. The panel's refresh rate is 50/60 Hz, and image upscaling technology also enhances lower-resolution content.
Sound reproduction is handled by a speaker system from Harman/Kardon with a total output of 24W (2× 12W). This system offers a wide dynamic range and room-filling sound. Integrated support for the Dolby Atmos format creates a three-dimensional sound field, where sound flows around and above the viewer. The system is complemented by decoders for Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus, and Dolby AC-4 formats. One of the four HDMI ports includes an eARC channel, which transmits uncompressed audio tracks to a compatible soundbar.
The Google TV operating system unifies content from various streaming apps, such as Netflix, YouTube, Disney+, or local services like OnePlay, SledováníTV, and LepšíTV. It organises everything into a clear interface based on genres and topics that interest you. The Google Assistant, activated by a button on the remote control, is used to search for films, launch apps, or control connected smart home devices. The integrated Chromecast feature mirrors content from mobile phones, tablets, or laptops directly onto the big screen. The television can also be controlled using the Google TV app on a mobile device. The system supports HbbTV version 2.0.3 hybrid broadcasting.
The television offers an ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode) feature. As soon as the TV detects a signal from a connected games console, it automatically switches to a low input lag game mode. This reduces the delay between an action on the controller and its display on the screen, contributing to a smoother gaming experience. Four HDMI 2.1 specification ports are available for connecting modern gaming devices. These connectors support compatibility with current-generation consoles and their features for smoother gameplay.
The connector array includes four HDMI 2.1 ports, two USB ports, and a LAN port for a wired network connection. The USB ports support playback of a wide range of multimedia files, including MKV, MP4, AVI video formats and FLAC music files. Wireless connectivity is provided by Wi-Fi and Bluetooth technologies, which can be used, for example, to connect wireless headphones or a soundbar. A digital optical output and a 3.5mm headphone jack are provided for connecting older audio devices. It also includes a CI+ slot for pay-TV decoding cards, compatible with DVB-T/T2/C/S/S2 tuners.
The television can be placed on furniture using the supplied stand, whose feet have a spacing of 1430mm. For wall mounting, the back of the panel has holes with a standardised VESA 400 × 300 mm spacing. The dimensions of the television without the stand are 1669 × 961 × 85 mm, and its weight is 22kg. With the stand, the television's dimensions are 1669 × 1028 × 317 mm. In addition to the television, the package includes a smart remote control with a microphone, batteries, a stand installation kit, and a quick start guide.
In standard dynamic range (SDR) mode, the television falls into energy class E, with a consumption of 103 kWh per 1,000 hours of operation. When viewing content in high dynamic range (HDR), which requires a higher level of brightness to display details in both light and dark parts of a scene, the consumption increases to 318 kWh/1000h, which corresponds to energy class G. In standby mode, consumption is less than 0.5W. Operation requires an AC 220-240 V power supply, and the television also has an auto-off function to further reduce energy consumption.
