The Sharp 85HP5265E TV delivers a 4K Ultra HD picture on its 85" (215cm) screen. Its QLED panel with Quantum Dot technology displays a wide colour spectrum, which enhances the experience of watching films and series. The sound system by Harman and Kardon complements the visuals with clean and dynamic sound. For an intense content experience, the TV processes Dolby Vision formats for picture and Dolby Atmos for sound. All features and applications are managed by the Google TV operating system, which brings together content from various streaming services on a single screen and includes a built-in Chromecast for mirroring content from your phone.

The 85" (215cm) display with 4K Ultra HD resolution (3840 × 2160) uses a VA panel with Direct LED backlighting. The Quantum Dot layer expands the colour space, covering 92% of the DCI-P3 gamut. The TV processes static standards HDR10, HLG, and the dynamic Dolby Vision format, which adjusts the picture frame by frame. The panel's refresh rate is 50/60Hz, and Active Motion technology supports the smooth display of fast-paced scenes.

The sound system by Harman and Kardon has a total output of 24W. Two 12W speakers support surround sound formats that create an immersive audio experience. Dolby Atmos and DTS Virtual:X 3D technologies create a three-dimensional soundscape, where sound comes from different directions. The TV also includes decoders for Dolby Digital AC4, Dolby Digital Plus, and DTS 2.0 formats, which means wide compatibility with audio tracks.

The Google TV operating system unifies content from various streaming platforms onto a single home screen. The system includes a built-in Chromecast for sharing content from mobile devices and full support for the Google voice assistant. Voice commands can be used to search for films and series or to control your smart home. Pre-installed apps include YouTube, Netflix, Disney+, and HBO Max.

Four HDMI 2.1 ports are available for connecting game consoles and computers. These connectors can handle 4K image transmission at a frequency of 60Hz, which supports smooth gaming on current-generation consoles such as the PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X. This allows gaming worlds to stand out with sharp details and without screen tearing at a standard frame rate.

In addition to the four HDMI 2.1 ports, the TV also offers two USB ports for playing multimedia from external drives. You can connect to the internet via the LAN port or wirelessly using Wi-Fi. Wireless connectivity also includes Bluetooth for connecting headphones, a soundbar, or other peripherals. The features also include a digital optical output for connecting to a home cinema, a headphone connector, and a CI+ slot for decoder cards.

The TV has a design with a thin aluminium frame that minimises the screen bezels. The dimensions with the stand are 116.8 × 189.1 × 43.9cm and the total weight is 30kg. Without the stand, the dimensions are 108.6 × 189.1 × 9.1cm, which is the figure for wall mounting. For this purpose, it is compatible with the VESA 600 × 300mm standard. The width of the stand's feet is 166.5cm.

In standard dynamic range (SDR) mode, the TV falls into energy class E with a consumption of 125 kWh per 1,000 hours of operation. When watching high dynamic range (HDR) content, the consumption increases to 320 kWh per 1,000 hours, which corresponds to energy class G. In standby mode, the power consumption is only 0.5W. It operates with a standard power supply of AC 220–240V.
