The SU630 SSD features QLC 3D NAND Flash technology with a capacity of 240GB. It is ideal for users who want to upgrade from an HDD to an SSD, using it for storage or as a boot drive. With dynamic SLC caching, the NAND Flash memory operates in SLC (Single-Level Cell) mode and boosts performance. With support for LDPC (Low-Density Parity-Check) error correcting code technology, the SU630 can detect and fix errors to ensure data integrity and thus extend its lifespan. Due to the absence of mechanical components, SSDs are more durable than HDDs. They are more resistant to shock, vibration (1500G/0.5ms) and extreme temperatures (0°C–70°C), providing better data protection. In addition, SSDs run silently and consume less power.
User tools and drive management
By purchasing the SU630, users are entitled to a free download of ADATA's SSD Toolbox and Migration Utility. The SSD Toolbox provides information on the drive's status, wear level and lifespan, and lets users monitor and manage the SU630. The Migration Utility is especially useful for users switching from an HDD to an SSD, as it enables quick and clear data backup and migration, including the operating system. The SSD ToolBox automatically ensures you have the latest firmware for optimal performance and lets you monitor drive health and remaining lifespan using S.M.A.R.T. (Self-Monitoring, Analysis, and Reporting Technology). It also lets you track the current operating temperature, capacity and total space used.
