3D NAND technology and higher performance
With 3D NAND Flash, the SU650 has higher efficiency and reliability compared to 2D NAND SSDs. An intelligent SLC caching algorithm enables the NAND Flash memory to operate in single-level cell mode and improves performance. It helps achieve read/write speeds of up to 520/450MB per second, so the SU650 offers smoother and faster boot-ups, file transfers, and downloads.
Error correction and design
With support for ECC (Error Correction Code), the SU650 can detect and fix errors to ensure data integrity and extend the SSD's lifespan. The MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) is up to 2 million hours, which is 25% more than 2D NAND SSDs. There are no mechanical components inside the SSD, making them more powerful than traditional HDDs with higher resistance to shock, vibration, and can handle temperatures from 0°C to 70°C. They are silent and have very low power consumption, while better protecting your data.
Proprietary disk management software
The Migration Utility is ideal for users switching from HDDs to SSDs, as it is designed for simple and quick backup and migration of entire disk contents, including the operating system. The SSD ToolBox automatically ensures you have the latest firmware for optimal performance and lets you monitor drive health and remaining lifespan via S.M.A.R.T. (Self-Monitoring, Analysis, and Reporting Technology). It also allows you to monitor the current operating temperature, capacity, and total space used.
