The ALPINESTARS HYDE XT DRYSTAR XFS men's motorcycle jacket in size XXL is designed for enduro and adventure touring, especially during the autumn months. Its single-layer outer shell with a laminated DRYSTAR®XF membrane ensures it is both waterproof and highly breathable. The jacket includes removable elbow and shoulder protectors and is compatible with Tech-Air® airbag vests for maximum safety. A direct ventilation system and stretch panels provide comfort while riding.

Durable materials and DRYSTAR®XF membrane

The jacket consists of a single-layer outer shell with four-way stretch for freedom of movement. The key feature is the laminated DRYSTAR®XF climate membrane, which provides 100% waterproofness and high breathability. Thanks to the lamination, the outer fabric does not get soaked, keeping the jacket lightweight even in the rain. The membrane also supports rapid moisture evaporation. In exposed areas, the jacket is reinforced with abrasion-resistant rip-stop nylon panels, increasing its overall durability for off-road riding.

Advanced protection and airbag compatibility

For your safety, the jacket is equipped with removable NUCLEON FLEX PLUS shoulder and elbow protectors, which are Level 1 certified. The internal mesh vest that holds the protectors is separate and full-body. The jacket can be further upgraded by inserting NUCLEON back and chest inserts (both Level 1 and 2) or by replacing the existing protectors with the Level 2 NUCLEON FLEX PRO version. You can ensure the maximum level of protection with full compatibility with TECH-AIR®5, TECH-AIR®3 and TECH-AIR®OFFROAD airbag systems.

Ventilation and comfort features of the jacket

An advanced direct ventilation system ensures thermal comfort. Long ventilation zips on the front and back of the torso, along with zips on the forearms, allow for effective airflow. You can easily adjust the jacket using the drawstring to adjust the collar circumference and the Velcro straps at the sleeve ends. The raised comfort collar has a soft microfibre inner surface, and the extended back section provides better protection for the lower back. Two waterproof outer front pockets are provided for storing small items. In addition, the main zip base guard prevents scratches on the motorcycle's tank.
