The backup power supply also acts as an imaginary protective wall between your valuable electronics and potential power surges, voltage fluctuations and even lightning strikes. An added bonus is a separate circuit breaker, which makes it easy to reset the electrical circuit after a short circuit or overload.
The APC Back-UPS BX 750VA (FR) has three battery-backed FR output sockets on its rear panel. In addition, you have three more sockets with surge protection. In the event of a power failure, a clear audible tone will alert you.
