The ARCTIC Freezer 36-S CPU cooler actively dissipates heat from desktop computer processors. The tower system uses an aluminium heatsink with a total of 54 fins, each 0.4mm thick, and one P12 Pro PWM fan measuring 120×120×25mm. The design, featuring four copper heat pipes, transfers heat directly from the processor's integrated heat spreader to the aluminium fins. The system supports Intel LGA 1700 and LGA 1851 sockets, as well as AMD AM4 and AM5.
The tower cooler combines copper and aluminium elements, with a total weight of 0.685kg. The passive section consists of 54 aluminium fins, each 0.4mm thick. These fins dissipate the heat brought by four 6mm-diameter copper heat pipes. The direct contact between the pipes and the processor accelerates the transfer of thermal energy to the aluminium block. The overall dimensions of the cooler without packaging are 156×126×88mm.
Forced airflow is provided by a single 120mm fan with automatic PWM speed control. The rotational speed ranges from 600 to 3000rpm. The fan uses a Fluid Dynamic Bearing (FDB) to reduce mechanical friction during operation. It delivers an airflow of 77CFM at 12V.
Installation on Intel sockets is made easier by a contact frame, which replaces the standard independent mounting mechanism. The frame distributes contact pressure evenly across the entire surface of the processor. The fan itself is mounted tool-free using a snap-on mechanism, simplifying handling during maintenance.
The cooler supports Intel LGA 1700 and LGA 1851 sockets, as well as AMD AM4 and AM5 sockets. The ARCTIC CPU cooler's design prevents any interference with high-profile RAM modules. Its compact dimensions leave plenty of free space for surrounding components on the motherboard. This lets users populate all RAM slots, even in space-saving computer cases.
The system operates without any integrated LED backlighting, making it suitable for builds without lighting effects. Connection to the motherboard is handled by a 4-pin cable that is 0.2m long. The cooler operates within a temperature range of 0°C to 40°C. The fan draws a current of 0.33A at 12V.
