The ARCTIC P12 Pro PST PC fan is designed for situations that demand high static pressure, where air needs to be forced through dense obstacles. Its revised blade design and focused airflow make it ideal for mounting on water-cooling radiators and perforated panels with dust filters. A fluid dynamic bearing with an extended shaft ensures smooth operation, reducing vibration and operating noise. A 4-pin PWM connector controls a wide speed range from 600 to 3000rpm, and when the load is below 5%, it switches the fan to a completely silent passive mode with zero RPM.

Synchronising ARCTIC P12 Pro PST fans
PWM Sharing Technology (PST) simplifies cable management when installing multiple fans. You connect one fan to the motherboard and then daisy-chain the others directly to each other. This way, all connected fans respond to a single PWM signal, and their speeds are fully synchronised without needing additional splitters.
Quiet operation and low vibration
The fluid dynamic bearing (FDB) uses an oil capsule that limits friction and wear on moving parts. The extended bearing shaft further reduces vibration and operating noise. An integrated microcontroller actively suppresses motor noise and protects the electronics from current surges during start-up, contributing to a longer component lifespan.
Balanced design of the ARCTIC P12 Pro PST fan
The fan blades undergo an automated balancing process that applies a balancing compound with high precision to eliminate manufacturing imperfections. This procedure contributes to smooth, resonance-free operation even at high speeds. Additionally, the minimised gap between the frame and the blade tips increases efficiency and static pressure. Stable rotation thus reduces mechanical stress on the bearing and contributes to its long life.
