If the PWM signal drops below a low load level, the 0 rpm function stops the fan completely, ensuring quiet operation of your build. At maximum performance, it moves a large volume of air, which promotes rapid heat exchange and dissipation from the processor or graphics card, even under demanding conditions.
Advanced bearing design of the Arctic P14 Pro fan
At the heart of the fan is a fluid dynamic bearing (FDB), which uses an oil film to reduce operational friction and wear. The bearing design contributes to quieter operation and better pressure distribution. Automated dual-plane rotor balancing minimises vibrations by applying balancing weights at two depth levels, which extends the life of the mechanical parts.
Quiet operation and low vibrations
The integrated microcontroller actively reduces motor noise, compensates for load fluctuations to maintain stable speeds, and simultaneously protects the electronics from power surges or damage from reverse polarity connections. The result is a combination of high performance and low noise, which does not exceed a low noise level even at full load.
