Thanks to a sophisticated motor optimisation, the ARCTIC S12038-8K fan (3 Pack) achieves the same performance with 22% lower energy consumption than comparable models. This fan is the ideal choice for server cases from 3U upwards, where high air pressure is required for optimal circulation in densely packed builds. This advanced approach increases the cooling efficiency of servers and the entire IT infrastructure, contributing to lower operating costs and long-term device reliability.
A special design with an additional impeller in the fan hub provides active cooling for the motor, keeping its temperature up to 10°C lower, which approximately doubles the lifespan of the entire mechanism. The fan uses two high-quality Japanese ball bearings housed in a brass casing, increasing stability, resistance to dust and heat, and the overall structural strength.
The model operates in a speed range of 800 to 8000RPM and offers control via either PWM or by changing the voltage. The fan achieves a static pressure of 37mmH₂O and a maximum airflow of 373.79m³/h, enabling efficient heat dissipation even when used on dense heatsink fins. The standard 4-pin connector ensures compatibility with 2-pin and 3-pin connectors, and the 30cm long cable provides installation flexibility.
