Storage and expandability
Four SATA III ports are available for connecting traditional hard drives and SSDs. The Ultra M.2 slot with a PCIe Gen3 x4 interface enables data transfers of up to 32Gb/s and also supports SATA3 6Gb/s M.2 modules. AMD Smart Access Memory technology removes the traditional limitation on CPU access to the graphics card's memory, expanding the data channel and boosting overall system performance. Realtek Gigabit Ethernet ensures fast and stable wired network connectivity.
Audio and personalisation
The 7.1-channel HD audio card with a Realtek ALC887/897 codec provides high-quality sound output. The board offers an RGB header and an addressable RGB header for connecting LED strips, fans, or other components with a maximum power draw of 3A. The standard RGB header supports 5050 LED strips up to 2 metres long, while the addressable header supports WS2812B strips with a maximum of 80 LEDs. Polychrome RGB technology lets you synchronise lighting across compatible accessories. Full Spike Protection safeguards sensitive components from voltage spikes, and the ASRock Live Update & APP Shop tools make it easy to update firmware and manage your system.
