What makes AVACOM chargers so smart?
Smart chip with memory function
The charger is equipped with an intelligent chip that has memory function. After charging, the charger returns to the mode that was last set.
Faulty battery detection
When connected, the charger is able to recognize if a battery is damaged or if the positive and negative terminals are incorrectly connected. In this case, the charger does not start charging the battery, but the LED indicator will light up.
Automatic regeneration
This mode is designed to resuscitate a deeply discharged battery. The charger automatically detects that the battery is deeply discharged and begins charging it at a lower current. Once the battery reaches normal voltage, the charger continues charging in the standard way. The maximum regeneration time is 20 minutes. If the corresponding voltage is not detected during this time period, the charger interrupts charging, and the LED light indicator will signal that the battery is damaged.
