Fridex G Plus coolant is a G12-type concentrate designed for the cooling systems of modern cars. Once diluted, it protects the engine from frost damage down to -38°C and also prevents overheating and boiling up to 110°C. Thanks to its composition with corrosion inhibitors based on organic acids, it is particularly suitable for all-aluminium engines. The fluid has a guaranteed service life of five years, ensuring long-term protection for your cooling system.

Anti-corrosion protection for modern engines

This coolant is based on inhibitors made from organic acids (OAT technology). These substances create a thin protective layer on the internal surfaces of the cooling system, which effectively prevents corrosion. This protection extends to all metal parts, including sensitive components made of aluminium and its alloys. This makes the fluid suitable for use in modern all-aluminium engines. The formulation ensures reliable protection for the entire service life, which is up to five years.

Mixture preparation and temperature protection

Fridex G Plus is supplied as a concentrate for individual dilution. For it to function correctly, you must mix it with distilled or high-quality drinking water. The dilution ratio determines the final frost resistance of the mixture. When mixed correctly according to the manufacturer's instructions, the fluid protects the cooling system from freezing down to -38°C. At the same time, it increases the boiling point, protecting the engine from overheating in the summer months or under heavy load, up to 110°C.

Manufacturer approvals and standards

Fridex G Plus coolant meets the VW TL 774 D/F standard and is officially approved for use in Volkswagen Group cars, including Škoda, Audi, and Seat. It also complies with MAN 324-SNF specifications, the British standard BS 6580:1992, and the American ASTM D 3306. Its properties have been verified and certified by testing laboratory No. 1152.1. The fluid is fully miscible with the original Škoda G 12+ coolant, making it easy to top up the system.
