The OSRAM Battery charge 1005 car battery charger is designed for 6V and 12V lead-acid and lithium-ion batteries in cars and motorcycles. It handles gel, AGM, EFB, and Li-Ion batteries with capacities up to 120Ah. A microprocessor controls the charging process, automatically selecting one of nine modes. An IP65 rating ensures resistance to dust and splashing water, making it easy to use in your workshop or garage. Built-in protection mechanisms prevent overheating, overcharging, and damage from reverse polarity.

Smart features and safe operation

Intelligent control is the key to efficient battery care. The OSRAM charger uses a nine-step charging cycle for lead-acid batteries and a seven-step cycle for lithium-ion batteries, optimising power delivery and extending battery life. It also features a desulfation function to help restore the performance of deeply discharged batteries. For long-term connection, such as during winter vehicle storage, you will appreciate the maintenance mode. Protection against reverse polarity, short circuits, and overcharging ensures safety. Both the mains and charging cables are 1.8m long, providing plenty of flexibility when handling the device.
