Thanks to its unique pulse action, known as smart charging, the TECMATE OPTIMATE solar system can charge batteries from as low as 1V. Smart charging allows you to choose between pulse and continuous charging depending on the strength of the sunlight. If the battery remains charged overnight, this intelligent maintenance continues the next day. Otherwise, the TECMATE OPTIMATE solar charger will return to the Optimisation step.
The Solar System Monitors Your Batteries
The TECMATE OPTIMATE solar charger displays the battery status on its LED panel every 3 seconds. During this monitoring, it draws less than 0.5mA. If the system detects sufficient sunlight, it automatically switches to charging mode. You can monitor the charging progress from the comfort of your car. The OptiMate charge and monitor controller is separate from the solar panel, so it can be placed near the vehicle to monitor charging or maintenance progress.
