The AXAGON ADE-ARC external network card easily turns a USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 port into a Gigabit Ethernet port. Compatible with 10/100/1000Mbit/s speeds, this USB network card adds a fast and stable network connection to your computer, provides a missing RJ-45 connector, adds an extra network card, or replaces an original non-functional network connection.
In addition to gigabit throughput, the LAN adapter offers a wide range of features such as IPv4/IPv6 checksum to reduce CPU load with checksums, crossover detection and auto-correction, TCP large send offload, support for various Wake-on-LAN modes, working with VLANs, and advanced power management features.
Its compact size and minimal weight make it an ideal accessory for laptops and other mobile devices. Support for current versions of Windows, macOS, Linux, Chrome OS, and Android means it can be used with any desktop computer, laptop, or ultrabook equipped with a modern reversible USB Type C connector. In Windows 8.1 and above, the adapter supports easy automatic installation without needing an internet connection.
The Ethernet adapter is also useful for tablet or mobile phone users whose devices support a wired Ethernet connection.
