The BOSCH DBB85CC60 Serie 4 built-in extractor hood blends perfectly into your space thanks to its flush installation in an upper cabinet. You get an unobtrusive, elegant solution without a 'bulky hood' that still offers reliable performance while cooking.
Maximise your kitchen's potential with an integrated cooker hood. The T-shape provides extra storage space with a capacity of up to 20kg – 10kg on each side. Keep items within easy reach while preserving valuable cabinet space, without compromising on convenience or functionality.
The matte black surface looks modern and minimalist, even when you open the upper cabinet. It also minimises the visibility of fingerprints, making the hood easier to maintain and keeping your kitchen looking clean and tidy for longer.
The cooker hood is designed for easy one-person installation thanks to its clever construction and practical installation aids. It offers a wide range of configuration options and is also suitable as a replacement for ceiling or telescopic hoods. An optional chimney extension helps to elegantly conceal technical elements (e.g., pipework), and the adjustable height means the solution fits into cabinets up to 90cm.
You and your guests will appreciate peaceful cooking. The extractor is designed to be as quiet as possible during operation – you can chat while cooking without the hood causing any unnecessary disturbance.
Enjoy fresh air even in recirculation mode. The advanced dual filtration system effectively removes grease and odours: a metal filter captures coarse grease, and the Long-life CleanAir filter (activated carbon) takes care of finer particles and smells – including strong ones like fried fish. (The filter is part of the recirculation kit, which is available as a separate accessory.) It can be regenerated three times and lasts for up to four years, saving you money and hassle.
The push buttons let you easily set the power level, giving you quick control without any delays. You can focus on your cooking, and the BOSCH DBB85CC60 Serie 4 cooker hood will take care of the fresh air around you.
The smooth and elegant surface makes maintenance simple. The body of the extractor has no visible screws, and protected areas help to minimise hard-to-clean spots and sharp edges. In addition, the glass panel protects your kitchen furniture by capturing grease and steam before they reach the cabinets. For added convenience, the metal grease filter is dishwasher-safe.

What all do I need for recirculation?
You need a carbon (odor) filter and a recirculation kit, which includes a deflector and connecting ducts.
Can the hob be connected for recirculation?
Yes, hobs with integrated extraction can be adapted to work in recirculation mode.
Can I use a 60 cm hood over an 80 cm hob?
This isn't recommended — the hood should be at least as wide as the hob, ideally wider.
How long can the ducting be for external extraction?
Ideally no more than 4–5 meters, and each 90° bend effectively reduces the usable reach by about 1–1.5 meters.
Is a backdraft damper included in the package?
It depends on the model — included with some, sold separately for others.
Does the hood have a filter clean/replace alert?
Only certain, generally higher-end models offer this, with an indicator that shows when filters are saturated.
Is it possible to connect the hood with the hob?
Yes, as long as both appliances support the same wireless technology, Home Connect.
