The Bosch DWF97RV60 extraction hood is an Energy Class A product featuring a luxurious design which emphasises the clear glass plate for reducing and extracting odours. The motor drives two high-performance, two-way extractor fans with power of up to 730m3/h. For ease of use, TouchControl, a rotary ring and LED lights are available. You can choose from 3 levels of power and 2 intensive settings for large amounts of steam or strong odours when cooking. You will also appreciate the 2 powerful, 3W LED lights for perfect illumination of the cooking area.

Unique features of the Bosch hood
The hood has a highly efficient EcoSilence Drive that saves energy, has less mechanical friction and lower noise. The metal grease filter can be washed in a dishwasher and a saturation indicator for the metal and active carbon filter is also featured. Another welcome feature is SoftLight with a smooth on and off fade function.
Another addition to this hood model is the PerfectAir sensor, which automatically adjusts the settings for maximum power and minimal noise. You will also appreciate the support of Remote Home Connect and even the ability to connect with a hob (for selected models). With this convenient and powerful hood you'll always have clean air in the kitchen, whatever you are cooking.
To use the circulation operation, an assembly kit is required as a special accessory!
What all do I need for recirculation?
You need a carbon (odor) filter and a recirculation kit, which includes a deflector and connecting ducts.
Can the hob be connected for recirculation?
Yes, hobs with integrated extraction can be adapted to work in recirculation mode.
Can I use a 60 cm hood over an 80 cm hob?
This isn't recommended — the hood should be at least as wide as the hob, ideally wider.
How long can the ducting be for external extraction?
Ideally no more than 4–5 meters, and each 90° bend effectively reduces the usable reach by about 1–1.5 meters.
Is a backdraft damper included in the package?
It depends on the model — included with some, sold separately for others.
Does the hood have a filter clean/replace alert?
Only certain, generally higher-end models offer this, with an indicator that shows when filters are saturated.
Is it possible to connect the hood with the hob?
Yes, as long as both appliances support the same wireless technology, Home Connect.
