Epsom salt is a compound of magnesium and sulphate. Magnesium is very important for the body, it helps muscle and nerve function and helps produce the hormone responsible for happiness - serotonin. Sulphates are also very essential, improving the absorption of nutrients into the body and in turn helping to flush out toxins. You will feel the beneficial effects of the bath after the first try - it relaxes the nervous system, helps to regenerate and relieves muscle tension. The bath also helps soothe foot pain, relieves swelling, softens hardened skin on the heels.

How can Epsom salt be beneficial?
