Premium sound with MQA support
At the heart of the Cambridge Audio DacMagic 200M are two high-quality ESS Sabre digital-to-analogue converters that can handle digital audio files up to 24-bit/768kHz or DSD512. They can easily convert files stored on CDs, smartphones, computers, or anywhere else. The result is an analogue signal with all details preserved and no distortion. The converter has a blue MQA LED indicator. When it lights up, it means you are playing an MQA Studio file, which has either been approved in the studio by the artist or producer, or has been verified by the copyright owner. The green indicator confirms that you are playing and decoding an MQA music file.
High-quality construction in a compact size
You'll appreciate the well-crafted all-metal body of the Cambridge Audio DacMagic 200M, made of steel and aluminium, which is dominated by an aluminium front panel with a large control knob. The attractive Lunar Grey finish references other components from all current Cambridge Audio product lines. Thanks to its compact dimensions, it integrates easily into any existing audio setup without taking up too much space.
Converts sound from CDs and Spotify
Thanks to its wide range of connectivity options, you can load digital files into the Cambridge Audio DacMagic 200M from various types of devices, whether it's a computer, CD, games console or smartphone. This is made possible by digital optical, digital coaxial and USB inputs, and it also supports file transfer via Bluetooth. It also features both balanced and unbalanced analogue outputs, so you can easily connect the converter to audio systems of all types. It also has switchable filters that give you different sound options. The DacMagic 200M also offers a high-quality headphone amplifier with a 6.3mm output on board, so you can enjoy the quality of analogue sound in the comfort of your own home.
