Thanks to the fast DIGIC 6+ processor 5D Mark IV is designed from scratch for high performance - with full auto focus and auto exposure allowing a continuous shooting speed of up to 7 fps. within a sequence capture up to 21 RAW images or unlimited number of photos in JPEG format.
Each pixel sensor consists of two photodiodes, because the camera captures files in RAW format with double the pixels, it contains a pair of images taken from two slightly different angles.
