Canon Extender EF 2X III
The Canon Extender EF 2X III teleconverter is ideal for news, sports and nature photography. Increases the 2x focal length of telephoto zoom lenses and Canon L-series telephoto lenses, increases autofocus accuracy and improves communication between camera and lens. It delivers exceptional image quality without compromising overall performance. Anti-reflective materials used for the construction of the teleconverter body reduce the incidence of glare, dust and water resistance is increased.
Key Features of the Canon Extender EF 2X III Teleconverter
- 2× extends the focal length of the lens
- Exceptional image quality
- Highly resistant to dust and water
- Better communication between lens and camera
- Optimised lens coating
- Compatible with L-series telephoto and telephoto zoom lenses
Increasing the focal length of powerful telephoto lenses
The EF 2x III teleconverter is specially designed to work with the powerful L-series IS telephoto lenses and increase their focal length by 2×. The design of the teleconverter preserves the performance and image quality of the lens.
High quality construction
Enhanced anti-reflective materials inside the lens body and improved surface treatment on the outer edges of the lens reduce the incidence of flare. Dust- and water-resistant design preserves image quality. Lenses with dust and moisture protection are equipped with a rubber seal on the bayonet, which can cause minor abrasions on the camera bayonet. However, this does not affect the functionality of the lens or the camera.
Built-in microprocessor for accurate data transfer and increased performance
A built-in microprocessor ensures accurate data transfer between the lens and camera. The result is higher autofocus and metering performance. The EF 2x III teleconverter is compatible with most of Canon's L-series telephoto and telephoto zoom lenses. It can extend the focal length while reducing the current aperture by only 2 EV.
