The Cardo PackTalk Edge intercom is a communication system designed for motorcyclists who want to stay connected with a passenger or a larger group of riders while on the road. The DUO set includes two units, allowing communication between two motorcycles or in a group of up to sixteen devices. The intercom supports communication, music playback, navigation instructions, and phone calls. The Cardo PackTalk Edge uses second-generation Dynamic Mesh Communication (DMC) technology, which enables stable group communication even when the number of participants changes. The intercom is equipped with JBL High-Definition sound and supports connection via Bluetooth 5.2. Thanks to the magnetic Air Mount, the unit can be easily and securely attached to the base on the helmet.

DMC 2.0 technology for group communication
The Cardo PackTalk Edge intercom uses second-generation Dynamic Mesh Communication technology, which creates a dynamic network between individual devices. This allows riders to communicate without interruption, even if one of the participants temporarily leaves the signal range. The system automatically restores the connection and links the device to the nearest available group member. Communication can take place between up to sixteen devices simultaneously. The maximum range between two riders is up to 1.6 kilometres, and in a group, it can reach up to 8 kilometres.
JBL sound and multimedia options
The Cardo PackTalk Edge intercom is equipped with 40mm JBL High-Definition headphones, providing high-quality music playback and voice communication. The device allows for parallel mixing of music and intercom audio, so you can listen to music and communicate at the same time. There are adjustable JBL audio profiles for both music and spoken word. Automatic volume control adjusts the sound level according to the ambient noise. The integrated FM radio supports the RDS system and allows you to save up to six radio stations.
Controls, battery and durability of the Cardo PackTalk Edge intercom
The Cardo PackTalk Edge intercom can be operated with voice commands via the Natural Voice system, without the need to use buttons. The device settings can also be configured using the Cardo Connect mobile app. The battery provides up to 13 hours of talk time, and fast charging via the USB-C connector gives approximately 2 hours of talk time after just 20 minutes of charging. A full charge takes approximately 1.5–2 hours, and the standby time can be up to 10 days. The intercom's construction meets the IP67 durability standard, so it is protected against water, dust, and adverse weather conditions.
