Cisco Catalyst C1300-24FP-4X
A network switch is an active network component that connects individual devices and other network elements. It is designed for controlling network traffic. The Cisco Catalyst C1300-24FP-4X is made to be installed in a rack. The Switch has 24 × RJ-45 ports that provide connection with network elements. 4 SFP connectors are there to transport data via optical fibers. 10/100/1000Base-T technology enables file transfer with a speed of up to 1000 Mbit/s. It features Dual Personality ports, remarkable for including both the RJ-45 and SFP connector ; however, only one can be used at a time. The switch dimensions are 350 × 444.5 × 43.9mm. QoS or Quality of Service technology makes sure the switch stays within its capacity, and it also allows you to control end station priority. The Cisco Catalyst C1300-24FP-4X also operates on the ISO/OSI model network layer, meaning it may serve as a router. Thanks to this useful function, you won't have to buy another network element.
