Cisco Catalyst C1300-48T-4X
Cisco Catalyst C1300-48T-4X
A network switch is an active network unit connecting individual devices or other network elements. It is designed for managing network traffic. The Cisco Catalyst C1300-48T-4X is made to be mounted in a rack. The Switch is equipped with 48 × RJ-45 ports that provide connection with network elements. 4 SFP connectors are there to transport data via optical fibers. 10/100/1000Base-T technology facilitates file transfer with a speed of up to 1000 Mbit/s. It features Dual Personality ports, which are notable for incorporating both the RJ-45 and SFP connector ; however, only one can be active at a time. The switch dimensions are 288 × 444.5 × 43.9mm. QoS or Quality of Service technology guarantees the switch doesn't get overloaded, and it also lets you set up end station priority. The Cisco Catalyst C1300-48T-4X also works on the ISO/OSI model network layer, which means it may double as a router. Thanks to this neat feature, you won't require another network element.
