Coldrex MaxGrip Lemon Flavored is indicated for adults 18 years of age and older with a body weight over 65 kg for the short-term relief of cold and flu symptoms, including fever and chills, headaches, sore throat, joint and muscle pain, of a stuffy nose, sinusitis and associated pain and acute rhinitis.
Medicinal substances
Coldrex MaxGrip contains the following medicinal substances: Paracetamol at maximum dose (1000 mg)which is a painkiller and also helps to reduce fever. Phenylephrine hydrochloride (10 mg)which reduces congestion of the nasal mucosa, is used to reduce swelling of the nasal mucosa and thus facilitates breathing. Ascorbic acid or vitamin C (40 mg)which is a common ingredient in cold and flu preparations. It helps replace vitamin C, which can be depleted in the early stages of colds and flu.
Dosage and method of use
Adults (including the elderly) with a body weight over 65 kg: 1 sachet after 4-6 hours. Do not take individual doses before 4 hours. Maximum single dose is 1 sachet, maximum daily dose is 4 sachets. Do not exceed the recommended dosage. Empty the contents of the bag into a glass or cup and pour hot water over it. Stir until the powder dissolves. If necessary, add cold water, sweeten with honey or sugar to taste, and drink.
Contraindications
Due to the paracetamol content, the product must not be used by children and adolescents under 18 years of age. The product should not be taken during pregnancy. Breastfeeding women may take the product only on the express recommendation of a physician. Alcohol must not be consumed during treatment. If you have kidney or liver disease, consult your physician before taking this product as dosage may need to be adjusted.
Storage
Keep out of sight and reach of children. Store at temperatures up to 25 ºC. Do not use the product after the expiry date marked on the packaging. The expiry date shall be the last day of the month indicated. Do not dispose of any medicines in wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of products you no longer use. These measures help protect the environment.
