Blisters form when the top layer of skin separates from the dermis, protecting the tissue underneath. This creates a typical fluid-filled pocket, most often encountered when walking in new or uncomfortable shoes, after a long run, or after walking all day. The discreet and healing COMPEED blister plaster, containing an active hydrocolloid gel, ensures faster healing and protects against dirt, infection, and bacteria. The plaster is ultra-adhesive with tapered ends, and its translucent corners blend in with the skin. A wide cushioning layer protects the affected area from painful pressure and friction. The waterproof COMPEED blister plaster stays in place for several days. It maintains natural moisture inside, which leads to so-called moist healing. It is suitable for larger blisters, for example on the heels.
Clean and dry skin before use. Ensure the area around the blister is free of creams and oils. To ensure the plaster adheres well, first warm it in your hand for 1 minute. Remove the patterned paper, do not touch the adhesive side. Apply the plaster directly over the blister, do not touch the adhesive side. Then remove the white tab. Smooth down the edges. Leave the plaster in place until it starts to peel off on its own. It may stay on for several days. When removing the COMPEED blister plaster, stretch it slowly along the skin as if you were trying to lengthen it. For best results, use the plaster until the skin is fully healed.
Do not apply to infected wounds. Do not reuse a single plaster. Never cut the plaster; the edges are specially shaped to ensure its adhesion. Any adhesive residue on tights, socks or shoes can be removed with white spirit. If the blister does not heal or worsens, stop use and consult your doctor.
