Blisters are formed when the upper layer of skin separates from the layers beneath, protecting the tissue underneath. This creates a typical fluid-filled pocket, which is most often encountered when walking in new or uncomfortable shoes, after a long run, or after walking all day. The discreet and healing COMPEED blister plaster, containing active hydrocolloid gel, ensures faster healing and protects against dirt, infection and bacteria. The plaster is ultra-adhesive with tapered ends, and its translucent corners blend in with the skin. A wide cushioning layer protects the affected area from painful pressure and friction. The waterproof COMPEED blister plaster stays in place for several days. It maintains natural moisture inside, leading to what is known as moist wound healing. The pack contains a mix of plaster sizes, so you will be equipped to treat smaller blisters on the sides of your feet and on your big toe, as well as larger blisters on your heels or soles.
Clean and dry the skin before use. Make sure the area around the blister is not greasy from creams or oils. To ensure the plaster adheres well, first warm it in your hand for 1 minute. Remove the patterned paper, do not touch the adhesive side. Apply the plaster directly to the blister, do not touch the adhesive side. Then remove the white tab. Smooth down the edges. Leave the plaster in place until it starts to peel off on its own. It can last for several days. When removing the COMPEED blister plaster, stretch it slowly along the skin, as if you were trying to lengthen it. For best results, use the plaster until the skin is completely healed.
Do not apply to infected wounds. Do not reuse a single plaster. Never cut the plaster; the edges are specially shaped to ensure the plaster's adhesion. Any adhesive residue on tights, socks or shoes can be removed with mineral spirits. If the blister does not heal or worsens, discontinue use and consult your doctor.
