Blisters form when the upper layer of skin separates from the dermis, protecting the tissue beneath. This creates a typical fluid-filled pocket, which most often occurs when walking in new or uncomfortable shoes, after a long run, or after walking all day. The discreet and healing COMPEED blister plaster, containing an active hydrocolloid gel, ensures faster healing and protects against dirt, infection, and bacteria. The plaster is ultra-adhesive with tapered edges, and its translucent corners blend in with the skin. A thick cushioning layer protects the affected area from painful pressure and friction. The waterproof COMPEED blister plaster stays in place for several days. It maintains natural moisture inside, which facilitates so-called moist wound healing. It is suitable for smaller blisters on the sides of the feet and on the toes.
Clean and dry the skin before use. Make sure the area around the blister is not greasy from creams or oils. To ensure the plaster adheres well, first warm it in your hands for 1 minute. Remove the patterned paper, avoiding contact with the adhesive side. Apply the plaster directly onto the blister, avoiding contact with the adhesive side. Then remove the white tab. Smooth down the edges. Leave the plaster in place until it starts to peel off on its own. It can last for several days. When removing the COMPEED blister plaster, slowly stretch it along the skin as if you were trying to lengthen it. For best results, use the plaster until the skin is fully healed.
Do not apply to infected wounds. Do not reuse a single plaster. Never cut the plaster; the edges are specially shaped to ensure its adhesion. Any adhesive residue on tights, socks, or shoes can be removed with mineral spirits. If the blister does not heal or worsens, discontinue use and consult your doctor.
