Calluses are a layer of dead, hardened skin cells. They form due to repeated pressure on one area, most often appearing on the balls of the feet and heels. COMPEED Callus Plasters with active hydrocolloid gel relieve pain, and moisturise and soften the skin, which speeds up callus healing. They maintain natural moisture inside while keeping bacteria out. The COMPEED Callus Plaster is ultra-adhesive with tapered edges, allowing it to stay in place for several days. It is waterproof and has a thick cushioning layer that protects against further pressure and friction.
For best results, soften the callus by soaking your feet in a warm footbath. Remove the hardened skin with your fingernail or by rubbing it with a towel. Do not use a pumice stone or file. Dry the skin thoroughly. Warm the COMPEED Callus Plaster between your palms for 1 minute before application. Remove the patterned protective paper. Then remove the large, white backing paper. Do not touch the adhesive side. Cover the callus with the plaster. Leave the plaster in place until it starts to peel off on its own.
Diabetics should consult their doctor before use. Do not apply to infected wounds. If the corn does not heal or worsens, stop use and consult your doctor. Never cut the plaster; the edges are specially shaped to ensure the plaster's adhesiveness. Any adhesive residue on tights, socks or shoes can be removed with white spirit.
