The Dell PowerEdge T160 server is a compact Mini Tower solution designed for small and medium-sized business needs or Near-Edge deployments. With a chassis optimised to save space, it easily fits into tight spaces such as warehouses or retail offices without disturbing with excessive noise. The design includes a protective Filter Bezel that effectively protects internal components from dust and grease, thus ensuring unimpeded airflow and increasing the long-term reliability of the hardware. The robust steel cabinet also reflects the emphasis on sustainability by using recycled materials. Reliable operation is ensured by a 300W power supply.

The computing base is a quad-core Intel Xeon 6325P processor with an operating frequency of 3,500 MHz, which can reach up to 5,200 MHz in Core Boost mode. The processor is equipped with 12MB of cache and supports key features such as HyperThreading and virtualization.

The server interface includes three high-speed USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports and three USB 2.0 ports for connecting external devices. Video output is handled by the VGA D-SUB standard, the RS232 serial port is used for specific industrial applications and network communication is provided by an RJ-45 connector. PCI Express x8 and PCI Express x16 slots provide hardware expansion options. Security of the entire system is provided by Cyber Resilient architecture with the root of trust directly in the chip and support for multi-factor authentication. Efficient management of IT infrastructure is facilitated by Dell OpenManage tools.
