ELICA SHY-S WH/A/90

The ELICA SHY-S is a chimney cooker hood designed by ELICA's own Fabrizio Crisa, which was due to be officially unveiled at EUROCUCINA 2020. Made from high-quality tempered glass, the cooker hood offers a powerful extraction rate from 275–495m³/h, reaching up to 650m³/h on the intensive setting, with a low noise level of 52–71db(A). It also features an indicator to signal when the grease and carbon filters need cleaning. The cooker hood is also equipped with a timer function for automatic shutdown. It features 2× 1.5W LED lighting with a temperature of 3500K and comes with an aluminium grease filter. For recirculation, the hood can be fitted with a LONG LIFE carbon filter. This is a highly effective odour filter that is self-regenerating and lasts for up to 3 years, whereas standard filters have an average lifespan of between 3 and 6 months. The filter only requires simple maintenance: it must be washed every 2 or 3 months with warm water and a mild detergent (or in a dishwasher at 65 degrees Celsius) and dried in the oven for 10 minutes at 100 degrees Celsius.
