NVIDIA leaves no doubt about who has a leading position in graphics cards. Following the spectacular success of the high-end GeForce 1080 and 1070 Series models, a dream card is also available for gamers who can play at a resolution of up to 2 560 × 1,440 points. This is the main domain of the GeForce GTX 1060.
NVIDIA leaves no doubts about who has a leading position in graphics cards market. Following the spectacular success of the high-end GeForce 1080 and 1070 series models, this graphics card is a great choice for gamers, who want to play at a resolution of up to 2560 × 1440 pixels, and that is the main aim of GeForce GTX 1060.
Key features
New Pascal architecture with 16nm manufacturing process
Low power consumption - only a 6-pin connector is required for power
Ideal for gaming experiences in QHD and Full HD resolution
Comparable performance with the GeForce GTX 980 generation
The card has a reference core clock rate - 1607/1835MHz
EVGA provides non-reference quality cooling in the packaging
Energy-saving operation
Due to 16nm manufacturing technology and the new Pascal architecture, the manufacturer promises not only noticeably higher performance but a much higher efficiency. Expected power consumption is therefore only 120W, while comparable cards, such as GTX 980, required up to 165W for their operation.
Advanced technical parameters
EVGA GeForce GTX 1060 3GB offers high-performance provided by 1152 CUDA cores, 72 texturing and 48 rendering units. The Pascal GP106 core overclocks up to 1,708MHz in Boost Mode. The graphics chip is complemented by 3 GB of GDDR5 memory with 192GB/s data bandwidth.
Improved cooler by EVGA
The EVGA GeForce GTX 1060 is equipped with an advanced ACX 2.0 cooler, which is quieter and provides better cooling than the reference cooler. One 6-pin connector will handle the power supply.
Determining the utilization of the graphic card. Graphic card for multimedia or office has different parameters than a professional model, or a card for gaming.
The memory stores information necessary for graphic calculations. A higher number in the end indicates newer technology. Today's standard is the GDDR6/GDDR7.
Outputs for connection to a monitor. For analog, VGA connector is used, the digital is DVI or the newer HDMI and DisplayPort (DP). Digital interfaces offer better image quality, higher resolution (up...
For removal of unwanted heat is used either the passive cooling (silent) or active cooling (fan). there is also the possibility of alternative cooling (water cooler).
TDP (Thermal Design Power, or the Proposed thermal power) is given in watts and is the highest possible heat output, which the cooling of the graphics card has to be able to spread into the...
Graphics cards with lower wattage power supply just need PCI-Espress slot, more powerful models with higher consumption require an additional power source.
To maximize the performance of your computer must have a sufficiently powerful source. The value is stated in watts, and indicates the minimum appropriate power source.
400 W

dobry den, chtel bych update pc, ma sestava amd fx 4320 , základní deska ASRock N68-GS4/USB3 FX , zdroj Crono PS400PLUS , grafika geforce 750 ti 2Gb.
