The FiiO KA15 headphone amplifier combines FIIO's expert audio know-how on the inside with the retro look of tape recorders on the outside. The FIIO 5 series generation of audio dongles inspires endless fun with avant-garde innovations and appeals to quality lovers with its practical design. It brings together great sound, ergonomics, fun and aesthetics, all in one small and practical package. The audiophile-grade DSP gives the KA15 a ten-band, high-precision lossless PEQ, which works smoothly and at high quality thanks to advanced adjustment algorithms developed in-house by FIIO. Through the control app or web interface, you can not only simulate or correct the frequency response curve of your headphones, but also export, import, share and save equaliser curves. Whether you choose to use the officially recommended tuning or decide to share your tuning online with other enthusiasts, you can easily set the equaliser exactly how you want it.

Flagship chips

The combination of a powerful USB chip, dual flagship CS43198 DACs, and dual high-performance SGM8262 op-amps enables high performance in a small space, giving the miniature KA15 dongle better sound quality than you would expect from its small size. The KA15 supports sampling rates up to 768kHz/32bit and DSD256, so it easily handles a variety of lossless audio formats and meets your demands for great sound. It also has Hi-Res Audio certification, which attests to its excellent sound quality.

Smart app control

FIIO's capable software team has enabled full control of the KA15 via the FIIO Control app*, including the ability to set PEQ, channel balance, UAC mode, volume, button mode, screen brightness, screen sleep time, theme, etc. More features will be added through future firmware updates.
* FIIO Control via the KA15 is only supported on the Android version of the app.

Modes and in-line controls

To better suit your preferences, you can choose which control modes you want to use. There are two volume control modes available – a quick 60-step adjustment or a fine 120-step adjustment. Mode A – short press the +/- button for volume, long press for previous/next track. Mode B – short press for previous/next track, long press for smooth volume adjustment. Microphones are supported* via the 3.5mm jack, which supports the CTIA standard for in-line controls – letting you not only use the microphone but also control music playback and volume. The 3.5mm jack also serves as an SPDIF output, allowing connection to an external decoder for more ways to listen.
* iPhones and some Android phones may not support microphone input due to operating system limitations.

Metal construction

The all-metal body of the FiiO KA15 amplifier is carefully crafted through several processes, including precision CNC milling, anodising and polishing. The result is a smooth and sleek texture that fits comfortably in your hand. The all-metal construction also effectively reduces external interference, ensuring cleaner and better sound quality. With the MagClip, you can easily enjoy Hi-Fi on the go – when used with the magnetic MagClip kit, it is securely fastened without wobbling, enabling a more comfortable portable Hi-Fi listening experience. The KA15 in midnight black is timeless, being both round and angular. A thoughtfully designed lanyard hole lets you attach the KA15 to your favourite lanyard to prevent loss and add a touch of personal style.
