Fosi Audio ZD3
The Fosi Audio ZD3 is a high-end desktop digital-to-analogue converter with a preamplifier and Bluetooth receiver function, designed for demanding home Hi-Fi systems and modern multimedia use. Thanks to its fully balanced design, high-quality ESS ES9039Q2M DAC chip, and wide range of inputs, it offers clean, detailed, and dynamic sound with very low distortion. In addition to standard digital inputs, it also includes HDMI ARC for a television and Bluetooth 5.0 for wireless streaming from a phone or tablet.

The ZD3 model is designed for users who want to get the most out of their digital sources. With its fully balanced circuitry and high-quality internal components, it offers high resolution, accuracy, and clarity of presentation. RCA and XLR outputs allow connection to a classic amplifier, active speakers, or a powerful power amplifier. The bypass mode allows you to bypass the internal volume control and use a fixed output level.
Modern Connectivity and High Resolution
The Fosi Audio ZD3 uses a combination of XMOS XU316, ESS ES9039Q2M chips, a QCC3031 Bluetooth module, and an LME49720 op-amp. Via USB-B, it supports playback of up to PCM 32 bit / 768kHz and DSD512. The optical, coaxial, and HDMI ARC inputs support up to PCM 24 bit / 192kHz. Bluetooth 5.0 enables wireless audio transmission with support for aptX HD, aptX, AAC, and SBC codecs. This makes it easy to connect a computer, TV, streamer, games console, or mobile device.
Practical Features and Sound Customisation of the Fosi Audio ZD3 DAC Converter
The front panel features a 1.5” OLED display for a clear overview of the input and current settings. An infrared remote control is included for convenient operation. The Fosi Audio ZD3 also offers Trigger In/Out for synchronised power-up of other components in the system. The op-amps in the DIP8 socket can be easily replaced with compatible models to fine-tune the resulting sound character according to your own preferences.
