The 8BitDo Pro 3 Bluetooth gamepad is used to control games on Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PCs with Windows 10, 11, and mobile devices with Android and iOS. This controller offers wireless connectivity using Bluetooth technology. An integrated 1000mAh battery provides power during gaming sessions without needing to connect a power cable. The device also supports Switch 1/2, Windows, SteamOS, Android, and Apple operating systems.

Charging dock
The package includes a charging dock that keeps the integrated 1000mAh battery charged. When you remove the controller from this dock, it automatically reconnects to the last paired compatible device. This system reduces the need for manual power-on and signal searching before every game. The dock connects using the included USB cable.
TMR joysticks and sensing precision
The controller uses joysticks with TMR technology, which offer higher sensitivity and movement precision while reducing power consumption from the battery. The sensor chip operates with 12-bit resolution to register even the slightest tilt of the stick in detail. The design includes wear-resistant rings, which increases the overall mechanical durability of the entire joystick during intensive use. The magnetic ABXY buttons can be easily removed to physically change the layout between Nintendo Switch and Xbox standards.
Quick response and extra buttons
The controller body features a total of 16 buttons, including quick R4 and L4 bumpers and two rear programmable buttons (back paddles). These controls are used to remap functions without needing to immediately install utility software. The device also supports a Turbo function, vibration, and a six-axis motion sensing kit using a gyroscope for compatible games consoles and systems. The trigger switches operate in two different action modes, which can be switched using an integrated hardware selector. This setting adapts the trigger behaviour to the specific requirements of racing games or fast-paced shooters.
Wireless connection
Wireless connection is provided by the included 2.4GHz USB-C adapter, which reduces transmission latency. For detailed customisation, you can use the 8BitDo Ultimate Software version V2, in which you can adjust stick sensitivity, button mapping, and vibration strength. Up to three separate user profiles can be saved to the controller's internal memory.
