Acer Predator Gaming Controller PGR300
Acer Predator Gaming Controller PGR300
The Acer Predator PGR300 wireless gamepad is designed for controlling games on PCs, mobile phones, and gaming consoles. The controller transmits the player's commands via a wireless interface or a USB-C cable. Asymmetrical analogue joysticks with Hall sensors detect movement with high precision without mechanical wear on the internal contacts. The device contains a total of 16 buttons and an integrated LED status indicator on the front. It requires AA batteries, providing up to 25 hours of operation.
Key features of the Acer Predator Gaming Controller PGR300
- Joysticks feature wear-resistant Hall sensors
- Buttons can withstand up to 3 million presses
- Integrated motion sensor
- Dual vibration motors
- Requires AA batteries with up to 25 hours of battery life
- A total of 16 buttons
Precise control
Hall effect sensors in the joysticks eliminate mechanical friction, preventing wear and tear. The analogue L2 and R2 triggers respond to the pressure applied, making it easy to control the throttle or brakes in racing simulations. The controller's buttons have been tested to withstand up to 3 million clicks for long-term gaming use. The Turbo function offers a choice of firing modes with different repeat rates.
Ergonomics and design
The body is designed to provide a stable grip during long gaming sessions. The asymmetrical layout of the analogue joysticks corresponds to the natural position of the thumbs. The package includes interchangeable joysticks of different heights for customised control. The device weighs 220g for easy handling during long-term use.
Wireless connection
The controller communicates with devices via several interfaces. Wireless transmission uses Bluetooth 5.0 or 2.4GHz radio frequency technology. For a stable, low-latency connection, you can use a classic wired connection via the USB-C connector. This connection method supports Xinput and switch mode, making it easy to set up on different types of gaming devices without needing to install additional drivers.
Haptic feedback and sensors
Built-in dual vibration motors provide feedback directly to the player's palms during gameplay. The vibration intensity changes automatically according to what's happening on screen, depending on the game. The integrated motion sensor detects the controller's tilt in space and transmits these positional changes directly into the game. The device requires a minimum power of 0.15W and a maximum of 4.2W for all sensors to function stably.
Wide compatibility
The controller works with Windows 10 and higher via Xinput protocols, using both wireless and wired connections. You can also easily connect it to mobile phones with Android 9 and newer or iOS 14.5 and newer via Bluetooth. Support also includes the Nintendo Switch console from operating system version 3.0.0, either wirelessly or via a USB-C cable.
Customisation and battery life
The controller is powered by AA batteries, which are inserted into the back of the body under a removable cover. The total battery life on a single set of batteries is up to 25 hours of continuous operation, depending on vibration intensity and play style. An integrated LED indicator on the front of the device shows the connection and power status. The package also includes interchangeable joysticks of different heights, but a charger is not included.
